Recycling Information for our products

This page explains how to correctly dispose of electrical and electronic equipment and batteries in accordance with applicable UK environmental regulations as well as all packaging material.

Ezee complies with the UK Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations and the Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations, which promote the environmentally responsible collection, treatment and recycling of electrical products and batteries.

Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Electrical and electronic products must not be disposed of with household waste.

Products covered by the WEEE Regulations are marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. This symbol indicates that the product should be collected separately and recycled through approved collection and treatment facilities.

Waste electrical equipment contains valuable materials that can be recovered and recycled, as well as substances that may be harmful to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. Proper recycling helps conserve natural resources and helps protect the environment.

Returning Old Electrical Devices

When purchasing a new Ezee device, customers may return a comparable Ezee device for environmentally responsible disposal and recycling.

The return service applies only to:

Cost of Returning Devices

The collection, treatment and recycling of qualifying returned devices is provided free of charge.

If you choose to return a device to us by post, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to our return address. We do not provide prepaid return labels for WEEE returns.

Please contact our customer service team before sending any item for recycling so that we can provide the correct return instructions.

Alternative Recycling Options

As an alternative to returning your device to us, you may take unwanted electrical products to a local authority recycling centre or another authorised WEEE collection point.

Information about recycling facilities in your area can usually be obtained from your local council.

Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.

Where possible, batteries should be removed from electrical devices before disposal and recycled separately through appropriate battery collection schemes.

Further information can be found on our Battery Disposal Information page.

Data Protection Notice

Before disposing of or returning any electrical product, customers are responsible for removing any personal data that may be stored on the device.
